Horror movie teaser trailer- Scream 4
This trailer is a good example of a ‘typical’ horror movie (serial killer on the loose) based in America. The colours black and white really contrast against each other. The director has thought well about the killers costume because the black outfit camouflages well with the darkness of the night, and made the face basic but scary at the same time so the face will continue staying in the audiences mind, when finishing watching the film.
I think one of the most affective parts of this trailer is the phone ringing at the beginning because as it rings there is a sense of waiting (Waiting to die?).
I also really like the screaming of the victims in the film at the end, I think it represents and emphasis the name of the movie (Scream).
