This poster creates a mysterious but creepy atmosphere. The structure of the poster is a 12 pane window with a blacked out character on the outside, which connotes that the figure is ‘uninvited’ and creates a sense of danger and uneasiness which links well with the name of the film.
The font used relates to the film well, it looks like child’s handwriting just like the backed out mysterious character on this poster.
This poster has a frightening effect as the colours used are grey, whites and black.
The poster has included the directors films that they have created to try and entice audience who have watched the previous films to watch ‘the uninvited’.
